WEDGES
Wedges
A wedge is almost as essential to tree felling and bucking as a chainsaw. When properly placed, wedges help keep the tree from pinching your chainsaw bar, and helps the tree to fall in the direction of the notch cut. With proper placement, wedges help keep the tree from falling backward or pinching your chainsaw bar. Like all STIHL products, these wedges can take a beating. STIHL wedges are made of high-impact polymer for long-lasting use.

Woodsman Chainsaw Carrying Case
Just like our chainsaws, our case can handle multiple tasks. Use it to carry and transport your chainsaw to and from the work site. It is also ideal for storage when your workday is done. It’s unique, removable bar scabbard has built-in tool holders to carry tools to the cutting site. Fits MS 170 to MS 460 with 20” bar. (Excludes MS 441 and wrap-handle saws.) Replacement parts available.
Chainsaw Carrying Case
With its sleek and modern design, the STIHL chainsaw carrying case is an ideal way to store or transport your STIHL chainsaw when the job is done. The durable hinges provide added security, and two tie down points help to prevent against sliding during transport.The case is manufactured from high density polyethylene with double wall construction. This design reduces weight while providing excellent durability and can easily be cleaned of dirt and oil. Additionally, the STIHL chainsaw carrying case is designed for use with the scabbard provided with the saw. With availability in two different sizes, users have an option for most STIHL chainsaws. The medium case accommodates models MS 170–MS 500i, and the large case accommodates models MS 661 C-M–MS 880 (R wrap handle versions are excluded from both cases).

Chainsaw Service Kits

Chain, Bar & Sprocket ID Gauge
The Chain, Bar & Sprocket ID Gauge is used to identify the pitch of the chain and sprocket, as well as the thickness of the drive link and groove width of the guide bar.
Multi-Function Tool
The STIHL multi-function tool comes in models for homeowners and professionals, allowing for adjustments to STIHL chainsaws as well as other STIHL tools and components, such as trimmers, gearboxes and more. Both tools include a T27 Torx driver for most Torx screws on a STIHL powerhead, a small tool/screwdriver for cleaning out the guide bar groove or adjusting carburetors, a large screw driver for adjusting chain tension, an 8mm wrench for loosening nuts found on STIHL powerheads, a 19mm socket for spark plugs or large guide bar nuts, and a small Phillips head screwdriver.
‘Kool Grind’ – Grinding Compound
This silicone-based wax is a cooling compound that cools and lubricates during saw chain sharpening operations and is to be used when sharpening STIHL saw chains with the STIHL battery-powered chain sharpener. Kool Grind increases grinding wheel life by coating and lubricating grinding wheels, preventing clogging and glazing, allowing the saw chain to sharpen cooler and faster.
Guide Bar Grease Gun
The Guide Bar Grease Gun is designed for lubricating the sprocket nose bearings on guide bars that have the grease hole. Current STIHL guide bars offer maintenance free sprocket noses, some competitor’s guide bars still require additional grease.This tool only works on select STIHL chainsaws, so visit your local STIHL Dealer to determine if the Guide Bar Grease Gun is right for your saw.
Guide Bar Dressing Tool
The STIHL Guide Bar Dressing Tool is designed to maintain all your STIHL guide bars by removing burrs from guide bar rails, leveling the guide bar rails and preventing the guide bar rails from knifing. The included file is constructed from high-grade steel and is pre-oiled for resistance to rust. The handle resists rust and corrosion and is constructed from hard plastic for maximum strength and longevity. This maintenance tool removes normal wear and minor damage as it dresses your bar rails back to a 90-degree square edge. Redress your STIHL chain saw guide bar rails to 90 degrees to keep the saw chain cutting straight.
